The Atlanta Dream returned to winning ways on Saturday, taking down the Dallas Wings 83-75 in front of their home crowd. The victory leveled Atlanta’s record at 2-2, thanks to a collective effort led by Allisha Gray’s electric performance. Gray dropped 27 points, tying her career-high, while adding six assists, five rebounds, and three blocks.
Brittney Griner chipped in with 15 points, and Brionna Jones posted a massive double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds. On the other end, NaLyssa Smith led the Wings with 13 points, while Paige Bueckers contributed 11 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
Gray’s night was nothing short of dominant, especially in the second half where she scored 16 of her 27 points. Postgame, she took time to shout out her teammates, especially Brittney Griner and Brionna Jones, for making her night easier on the floor.
“I love Bree and BG,” Gray said smiling. “They made my life so much easier. I ain’t never got so many open threes in my life.”

Griner’s presence inside helped stretch the floor for Gray, who knocked down four three-pointers in the win.
“Thanks to them, because they can pass it too. And you got the first home win for the Dubs,” she added, acknowledging Griner and Jones' playmaking abilities.

This performance wasn’t just another strong outing, it marked Gray’s tied career-high in scoring and pushed her past 600 career assists. It also continued her consistent form, as she has averaged 25.6 PR over her last five games.
After a slow outing against the Fever the night before, Gray made it clear she came into this one looking to set the tone early. Her performance delivered exactly that, and then some.
