ESPN Predicts Winner of Indiana Fever-Las Vegas Aces Game

The Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces are tied 1-1 in the semifinals of the WNBA playoffs. Stephanie White's Indianapolis squad won Game 1 by 16 points, and Becky Hammon's team returned the favor in Game 2 with a 22-point blowout victory.

Now, the series shifts to Indiana at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for Games 3 and 4, giving the Fever a chance to close out the best-of-five showdown at home and the Aces an opportunity to avenge their home loss and possibly embarrass Indiana in front of its home fans.

Considering that the Fever are the No. 6 seed and are missing key players such as Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson, Aari McDonald and Chloe Bibby due to season-ending injuries, they are naturally considered the underdogs for Game 3 on Friday.

It's also worth noting that the Aces have the first four-time MVP in WNBA history in A'ja Wilson, who had a brilliant Game 2 performance with her 25 points, nine rebounds, five steals and two blocks.

Despite that, however, ESPN sees the Fever coming out on top in Game 3 at home. The network's Matchup Predictor gives Indiana a 52.5% chance to win, while Las Vegas is at 47.5%.

The Fever have only played one game at home so far in this year's WNBA playoffs, beating the Atlanta Dream in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series.

During the regular season, the Fever finished with a 13-9 record at home. But, it is important to highlight that the Aces are a pretty good road team as well, boasting a 13-9 away record.

The Fever certainly need to take advantage of their upcoming home games. After all, they can't give the No. 2 seed Aces too much confidence considering how talented they are.
