The Dallas Wings are currently facing off against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday evening at Mohegan Sun Arena.
Both teams entered the game seeking their first win of the season. The Wings have showcased a strong offensive performance, with standout contributions from key players such as Arike Ogunbowale, Aziaha James and Paige Bueckers. Bueckers has made significant contributions, demonstrating her potential at the professional level.
The Wings' defense has effectively limited the Sun's scoring opportunities, maintaining a comfortable lead. At the end of the third quarter, the score was at 88-74, in favor of the Wings.
In an insane play that happened during the third quarter, Sun shooting guard Marina Mabrey passed the ball to Bria Hartley, but it was blocked by Bueckers when Hartley attempted to shoot. Ogunbowale then caught the ball and ran. She quickly passed the ball to Bueckers, who then scored for the Wings.

Not only is she having a great game and is on the road to her first WNBA win, but the UConn alum became the first 2025 WNBA rookie to score more than 20 points in one game. This is the first time the guard has returned to play in Connecticut since her college career.
Through her first four games, she leads the team with averages of 13.0 points, 6.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game. Notably, she became just the third player in league history to record a points-assists double-double within her first three games.
