ESPN reporter Holly Rowe is fed up of the media's criticism of Angel Reese.
Reese, a third-year WNBA veteran, is getting ready for the 2026 season with the Atlanta Dream. She was traded from Chicago to Atlanta this offseason. Reese, a two-time WNBA All-Star, is hoping for a breakout season.
But some in the media have called out Reese, who has attempted to put herself on the same level as Caitlin Clark.
"We'll look back in 20 years and be like, the reason why we're watching women's basketball is not just because of one person (Caitlin Clark). It's because of me, too," Reese said.

Rowe isn't happy, though.
The longtime WNBA reporter called out Root, accusing him of "bullying" women on social media.
"YO," she wrote. "Stop bullying women."
He replied: "Holly...how is this bullying?"
Reese has at times refused to speak with the media, choosing to accept a fine.
“The media has not always been great for me. And I’ll take a fine. I’ll catch a fine, especially in a WNBA. I’ll have a fine before I have to go to media and feel like my back is against the wall,” Reese told Michelle Obama.
She prefers "safe spaces."
“I get excited for certain people, like a Taylor [Rooks]. Certain people I know I can talk to,” she added.
“I don’t think anybody will ever understand [what I’ve been through]. I appreciate you guys for making this a safe space for me because, as you said, the media has not always been great for me.”
