The Indiana Fever have been extremely successful as of late, winning three straight games.
Indiana defeated the Connecticut Sun 85-77 on Tuesday and before taking down the last-place team in the WNBA, the Fever earned victories over the Dallas Wings and the Atlanta Dream.
After her team's win over Connecticut, head coach Stephanie White discussed the current state of the Fever, most notably the success and adjustments of All-Stars Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
When speaking about Boston, White mentioned that she views the frontcourt star as a key cog in the team's defense as well as a versatile piece on the offensive end of the floor.
"She’s the anchor on the defensive end of the floor," White said, per the Indiana Fever. "And she’s a facilitator offensively. I thought really early when she was not getting a lot of touches — and we have to go a better job at getting her touches — she was facilitating, she was making the right play."
Boston finished the win over the Connecticut Sun with 11 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Throughout her third season in the league, Aliyah Boston has posted 16 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
Boston has also posted incredible numbers on the defensive end, heading into a matchup against the defending WNBA champion New York Liberty, averaging 1.1 blocks and 0.7 steals.
The Fever are looking to extend their win streak on Wednesday night when they play the Liberty at 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
After a matchup against the Liberty, Indiana will host the All-Star weekend festivities. Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell were all named to the All-Star Game.
