Fever Flex Historic Game Against Angel Reese and Sky With 'Cinematic Recap'

The Indiana Fever couldn't be any happier with the way they started their 2025 WNBA season.

Indiana blew out the Chicago Sky 93-58 in their season opener on Saturday, with Caitlin Clark leading the way with her third career triple-double. The Fever playmaker finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, while adding two steals and four blocks.

Clark not only tied Candace Parker for the third-most triple-doubles in WNBA history, but she also set a new record as the fastest player to achieve three of such stat line—needing only 41 games to do so.

Meanwhile, DeWanna Bonner had seven points in the win, but the most important thing was that she climbed up the WNBA all-time scoring leaderboard with her performance. She's now third overall, only behind Diana Taurasi and Tina Charles.

It is also important to note that the 35-point blowout of the Sky is now the largest season-opening win in Fever history. And to make it even better, the win was witnessed by a sold-out crowd of 17,274 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The Fever, for their part, flexed all those achievements in a post on Sunday, which included a "cinematic recap" to highlight everything that happened before, during and after the contest.
