The WNBA is entering a new era with its latest Collective Bargaining Agreement, and the Indiana Fever are taking women’s basketball to another level with a new facility designed to enhance their players’ skills. The team unveiled plans to build an advanced training facility, which will be called the Indiana Fever Sports Performance Center.

The first rendering was released on Thursday. Team president Kelly Krauskopf said every feature of the facility was designed with the players' health, welfare, and development in mind.

The facility will feature light-filled dual practice courts and luxurious locker rooms where players will have dedicated spaces. Other features are science-based. Among the advanced elements of the building is a recovery suite that will help players recover through hydrotherapy pools, an infrared sauna, and red light therapy. It will also include a kitchen with a chef-driven nutrition program designed to enhance player performance.

While the facility is dedicated to Fever players, Krauskopf emphasized that the goal of this venture is to raise the bar for women’s basketball.

“These renderings bring our vision into focus,” she said in a statement.

“Every element of this facility has been intentionally designed around our players, including how they train, recover, connect, and live day to day. This will set a new standard for women’s sports and continue to position Indianapolis at the center of that momentum.”

The Indiana Fever Sports Performance Center will also include a space called “The Hub,” which will highlight team achievements and history.

Fans will not be left out, as they will be able to enjoy games and explore the franchise’s history through a public lobby that houses the Hall of Excellence.

The Fever are entering a new era as well. They ended their losing record in 2024 and finished the 2025 season above .500—their first time doing so since 2015.

Their superstar, Caitlin Clark, missed the end of the regular season, but the team still made the playoffs and reached the semifinals before falling to the eventual champions, the Las Vegas Aces.
