The Indiana Fever wrapped up the 2024 WNBA season with a 20-20 record before being knocked out in the first round of the playoffs by the Connecticut Sun. Caitlin Clark led the way during her rookie campaign, putting up 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game.
With the preseason tipping off Saturday against the Washington Mystics and training camp officially starting Sunday at Gainbridge Arena, Year 2 of the Clark era is underway.
Players and coaches had already been getting extra work in, but Sunday marked the team’s first official practice as they aim to take another step forward in 2025.
With the excitement building to get back on the court, the Fever took to social media on Sunday morning to share a four-word message.
"TRAINING CAMP STARTS TODAY," they wrote.

Indiana has a training camp roster of 15 players. Here's the squad:
It's worth noting that four of the players listed above are expected to be cut before opening day on May 17 against the Chicago Sky. The Fever need to get the roster to 11 instead of the maximum 12 due to salary cap limitations.
The battle for the final roster spot is expected to come down to 2025 draft picks Makayla Timpson, Bree Hall, and Yvonne Ejim, along with training camp invitees Jillian Alleyne and Jaelyn Brown.
The Indiana Fever begin their season against the Chicago Sky on Saturday, May 17 at 1 p.m. ET.
