The Indiana Fever have been active during the WNBA offseason, making a few interesting trade decisions.

Arguably the biggest name who will be departing from the Fever is forward NaLyssa Smith, who was involved in a trade to bring Sophie Cunningham from the Phoenix Mercury to Indiana.

Following the trade, the Fever sent Smith a kind message, showing support for the former Indiana star.

"Thank you for everything over the past three seasons, NaLyssa Smith," posted the Fever. "Wishing you all the best."

Smith was sent to the Dallas Wings along with a pick swap as part of a four-team trade. Indiana also sent the No. 8 pick in this year's draft to the Connecticut Sun.

Smith averaged 10.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game last year. She helped lead the Fever back to the WNBA playoffs for the first time 2016, capping off the year with a 20-20 record, ranked as the No. 6 team in the league standings.

She began the season as a starter alongside rookie Caitlin Clark, but was ultimately benched in the latter half of the year.

During Clark's rookie year, she averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game, leading the league in assists.
