Caitlin Clark watched an NFL game on Sunday and enjoyed the action. The Indiana Fever star took to X to express her disbelief in the result of the international matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles.
She and her teammates’ season ended on Oct. 1 at the hands of the Las Vegas Aces. Indiana extended the first-round series to a winner-take-all Game 3 but failed to dethrone the defending champions, losing 94-83. Clark and Co. faced homecourt disadvantage and played the do-or-die game at Michelob ULTRA Arena.
Kelsey Mitchell led the way for the Fever with a team-high 23 points but struggled from the field. The four-time All-Star shot 7-of-23 and added two rebounds. Aliyah Boston supplied 19 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. Clark finished with 18 points on 6-of-18 shooting, along with four assists and three three-pointers.
Clark saw the Jaguars pull off a 19-17 win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Ameer Abdullah ran for a 53-yard kick return which set up Cam Little for a 57-yard game-winning field goal.
“What an insane win for the jags,” Clark wrote.

Philadelphia took a 17-16 lead with only eight second remaining before Jacksonville’s winning sequence. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars’ offense by completing 24-of-39 passes for 331 yards and two touchdowns. They improved to 4-1 for the season and dropped the Eagles to 2-3.
Meanwhile, Clark and the Fever have a long offseason ahead. The team’s front office is facing big decisions, particularly with the future of its free agents, most notably Mitchell. Indiana could have a new-look lineup next year, especially after an early playoff exit. Clark will continue to be relied upon heavily to take the franchise to the next level and potentially win a title. However, she has been vocal about wanting the team to re-sign her backcourt partner.
