Fever Star Caitlin Clark's Exciting Message Ahead of 2026 WNBA Season

On Wednesday, the Fever took to social media to share a photo of Clark and some of her teammates. The Indiana players were not the main subject of the pictures, though. The Fever made a post to honor their loyal fans.

“and this is why ” the team wrote on Instagram, sharing photos of Clark and the Fever players interacting with the supporters.

Clark caught wind of the post and responded with an exciting message.

"time to get back to a lot of this," she wrote.

Clark is clearly looking forward to meeting her fans again. She will get the chance to do so on a regular basis once the new WNBA season starts.

The start of the 2026 WNBA season is scheduled for May. The Fever open their campaign on May 9 against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings. Clark and Co. will play at home at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The wait is almost over for Clark’s fans. Soon enough, their idol will be back on the court doing what she does best. For some lucky supporters, they will also get the chance to interact with her during games. Based on her post Clark is already looking forward to reuniting with her fans.

The downside is that there is still no guarantee that the season will start as scheduled. The WNBA remains locked in negotiations with the players union. With both sides still at a deadlock, the prospect of a lockout is becoming increasingly possible.

Clark did not mention the ongoing negotiations in her post. However, she’s made it clear that she’s eagerly awaiting her next home game with her fans.
