With massive successes like A'ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu on their roster, Nike is reportedly looking to strike while the iron is hot when it comes to Caitlin Clark.
The Indiana Fever star signed with the Swoosh upon entering the W and has since become arguably the most impactful figure in the league.
When Clark inked her Nike deal, the sportswear giant said that a signature shoe was on the way. But it now sounds like the company has even more in store for CC's fans in the very near future.
Per Ken Swift, "We heard a rumor the other day that Nike was going to release Caitlin Clark's Logo in November. I have it on good authority that it's not just the Logo. In November we are getting a clothing line and SNEAKERS (yes plural). Super exciting stuff. Yes they are late to the party but they are gonna bring it in time for this Holiday Season!"
Nike has kept Clark laced in numerous Kobe PEs in the meantime. With the latest honoring her beloved dog, Bella, in the Fever's win over the undefeated Liberty over the weekend.
A'ja and Sabrina's Nike shoes have made big waves across both men's and women's basketball. So one can only imagine how big of a hit Caitlin's will be if the shoe brand is able to really nail her design.
Clark has the potential to be a Jordan-like figure for the Swoosh if she's able to have the career many believe she will in the WNBA.
And given how much merchandise she's already moved for countless brand partners in her short time as a professional, something with her own name will likely be a massive draw for hoops fans of all ages/genders.
