Flau'Jae Johnson is one of the rising stars in college basketball. As a member of the LSU Tigers, she played a role in the school winning the women's NCAA championship in 2023 as a freshman, and she has consistently raised her game ever since.

Over the last two seasons, one of her teammates on the Tigers was Aneesah Morrow, a 6-foot-1 forward who is originally from Chicago. After a stellar four-year college career, first at DePaul and then with LSU, she was taken by the Connecticut Sun with the No. 7 pick in this year's WNBA draft.

While Morrow has struggled so far as a rookie, Johnson showed her some support with a post on social media.

Johnson averaged 11.0 points a game as a freshman, and this past season, she upped that number to 18.6 points a game while hitting 38.3% of her 3-point attempts.

After winning it all in 2023, LSU has lost in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament in both of the last two seasons, even with she and Morrow doing their thing at the same time.

Morrow averaged double digits in rebounds in each of her seasons in the NCAA, and she was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team in 2025 and to the All-SEC first team in 2024 and 2025.

Johnson was eligible to enter this year's WNBA draft, but she chose to stay with the Tigers for one more season. She's widely expected to be a top-10 pick when she does enter the draft, and some feel she could even be one of the first few players selected.
