Chennedy Carter continues to put together an impressive career playing basketball. While not in the WNBA, Carter is currently playing overseas with Wuhan Shengfan of the Women's Chinese Basketball Association.

She continues to put up big numbers in the scoring department, in fact leading the league with 31.4 points per game. Earlier in the 2024-25 season, Carter put up her season high of 44 in a game. Her highest point total came in 2023 when she scored 51 points in a game, playing for Bursa in Turkey.

Known most recently in the WNBA for her time with the Chicago Sky, she continues to go about her business and dominate the league. On Monday morning, she issued a strong challenge to herself on threads.

"How many times you think i can drop 40 points in a game seriously? my bar to shock myself is now 50 "

Carter had a strong three-year career with the Texas A&M Aggies. She played in 88 games with them and averaged 22.5 points per game. Her final season saw her play just 23 games, but make 45.2% of her shots and score 21.35 per game.

In her lone season with the Sky in 2024, she started 20 of the 33 games she played in, averaging 26 minutes per game. Carter scored a career-high average in the league of 17.5. That was just slightly higher than her 2020 season with Atlanta, where she was at 17.4 per game.

After one season playing for Teresa Weatherspoon, the Sky chose not to extend her a qualifying offer in January. That left her as an unrestricted free agent, and she was not signed by a WNBA team, which had many throughout the league scratching their head.

Carter became the first player in the 2024-25 season to record a triple-double; for the WCBA, as she scored 33 points, ripped down 17 rebounds and dished out 10 assists in an 85-69 win.
