Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have gotten off to a shaky start to the 2025 WNBA season, dealing with numerous injuries on their way to a 6-5 record.

But Clark's return from her quad strain ignited a two-game winning streak for the Fever, including taking down the defending champion New York Liberty.

Indiana will look to make it three in a row on Thursday when it hits the road to face Kate Martin and the Golden State Valkyries.

However, on Wednesday, just one day before the game, the Valkyries announced a new roster move, adding guard Bree Hall.

"Roster Update: The Golden State Valkyries have signed guard @breezyhalll," the Valkyries wrote on X. "Hall will be available on Thursday against Indiana."

Hall will get to face the very team that drafted her on Thursday night. Indiana selected her with the No. 20 pick in the second round of the 2025 WNBA Draft. Hall played in just one game for the Fever during the preseason, recording nine points on 4-of-9 shooting and four rebounds against Brazil.

Hall and Jillian Alleyne were part of Indiana's final roster cuts before the season began, trying to get the roster down to 11 players.

The Valkyries signed Hall just a day after securing their sixth loss of the season on Tuesday night, falling to Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings 80-71.

Golden State will host the Fever on Thursday at 10:00 p.m. ET. While Hall will get to face a former team with a chance to prove her value, and Clark will have another chance to face Martin, her former Iowa teammate and good friend.
