The Chicago Sky are set to face the Indiana Fever for a rematch of their blowout loss to start the season.
Chicago entered the campaign with a revamped roster and a first-year head coach in Tyler Marsh.
In their first game of the season, the Sky suffered a 93-58 loss to the Fever. On Saturday night, they'll have a chance to bounce back, set to play the Caitlin Clark-less team at 8 p.m. ET.
Before the Sky and Fever face off in prime time, Chicago guard Hailey Van Lith spoke with the media, and she discussed the first stages of her rookie season.
Van Lith explained that she has been learning through the process and is trying to stay level-headed while she works through the ups and downs of being a rookie.
"It’s a process every day and regardless of whether you had a good or a bad day, the next day is going to come," Van Lith said. "Not getting too attached emotionally to if I have a good practice or a bad practice or if I feel I had good minutes last game or not. Trying to be as steady emotionally as I can. When you’re in an uncomfortable environment sometimes there could be ups and downs that come with that."
