Tamika Catchings played 15 seasons in the WNBA, all with the Indiana Fever. During that span, she became a WNBA MVP, a 10-time All-Star and a five-time Defensive Player of the Year, among many other accomplishments.

Catchings also led the Fever to the WNBA Championship in the 2012 season, beating the Minnesota Lynx 3-1. She won Finals MVP after averaging 22.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.3 blocks.

The Fever icon ranks No. 5 in both the all-time scoring list (7,380) and the rebounding list (3,315). She's also 13th in assists (1,488) and 17th in blocks (348). Catchings leads the WNBA career leaderboard in steals with 1,074.

After Catchings retired following the 2016 season, she got into broadcasting as a game analyst for SEC Network and also ventured into entrepreneurship by buying a milk tea shop in Indiana.

Furthermore, Catchings served as the Fever's vice president of basketball operations and general manager from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, she worked as the Director of Player Programs and Franchise Development for Pacers Sports & Entertainment, which operates both the Indiana Pacers and the Fever.

Now, Catchings is returning to Pacers Sports & Entertainment with a new role. According to the organization, the Hall of Famer will rejoin them as an "ambassador" to help "elevate sponsorship and business initiatives, energize internal and external events and serve as a representative of the organization's vision and growth."

Both the Fever and Catchings expressed delight and excitement over the news. After the announcement, the team wrote on social media, "Tamika's back."

"Excited about rejoining @PacersSportsEnt as an ambassador!! #LetTheFunContinue #Blessed," Catchings wrote.
