The Indiana Fever engineered a crucial road victory over the Seattle Storm on Tuesday, prevailing 94-86 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.

It was the Fever’s seventh win of the season, evening their record at 7-7 and marking a significant milestone in their midseason resurgence.

The game unfolded as a back-and-forth affair through the first half, with Indiana leading 45-39 at the midway point.

However, the Fever outscored Seattle 30-19 in the third and, though almost losing its lead in the fourth, ultimately held on for what was a crucial win.

The Fever got double-digit scoring from four players: Kelsey Mitchell (26), Lexie Hull (15), Damiris Dantas (10) and Aliyah Boston, who led all scorers with a career-high 31 points while also notching eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.

After the game, the Fever took to Instagram to celebrate Boston's historic night.

Boston was the 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year and All-Rookie First Team honoree after being selected No. 1 overall out of South Carolina.

In college, she was a two-time Naismith Defensive Player of the Year in college and a four-time SEC Defensive Player of the Year, helping lead the Gamecocks to a national title in 2022 and earning the Naismith, Wooden and Wade awards in the process.

As of June 20, she's already an early frontrunner for her third consecutive All-Star selection, ranking third in fan voting with 446,961 votes (behind Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier).

Looking ahead, the Fever will ride this momentum into their July 1 Commissioner’s Cup final against the Minnesota Lynx

If Boston replicates her recent dominance, Indiana can not only capture its first Cup title but also lay a foundation for a playoff push in the second half of the season.
