Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever is performing as advertised in her third year of professional basketball after an injury-plagued 2025 WNBA season. Clark had a game-high 25 points in Indiana's 85-75 win over the Connecticut Sun on Saturday. Teammates guard Kelsey Mitchell and center Aliyah Boston tied the 6-foot guard for a team-high five assists.

Clark and Mitchell are not only tied for the team lead in points per game (20.3), but they join Kelsey Plum of the Los Angeles Sparks (26.6), A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces (26.2) and Brittney Sykes of the Toronto Tempo (20.7) as the only WNBA players averaging more than 20 points per game. Mitchell, in addition to leading the Fever in scoring last season (20.2 points per game), has made the All-Star team in each of the last three seasons (2023-25).

The 30-year-old Mitchell didn't make the All-Star Game until her sixth year, in contrast to teammates Boston and Clark. Both Boston (2023) and Clark (2024) not only made the All-Star Game as rookies, but also won Rookie of the Year honors. Although Clark joins Boston as having been an All-Star every season since entering the league, Indiana decided to make a request for Clark's nomination.

On Monday, Indiana went to social media to ask fans to support its superstar shooting guard. In an Instagram post, the Fever shared a picture of Clark with "VOTE CAITLIN." in the graphic. All-Star voting for the WNBA's 30th-anniversary season began Thursday and will run through June 27.

Clark is second in the league in assists per game (7.8), trailing only Alyssa Thomas of the Phoenix Mercury (8.1). The Dowling Catholic High School graduate is sixth in 3-pointers made per game and third in free-throw percentage (92.1%). Clark is a strong rebounder for a guard, averaging 4.6 per game.

"Caitlin Clark. Our creator," the Fever wrote in the Instagram caption. "Vote CC. Every day. ⭐️ FeverVote.com ⭐"

Indiana will host the Toronto Tempo at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
