Indiana Fever Player Makes Request During WNBA Playoffs

The Indiana Fever extended their semifinal series against the Las Vegas Aces to Game 5, meaning they are just one win away from the WNBA Finals and one loss away from playoff elimination.

Indiana is not favored at all in the winner-take-all showdown. Not only are they playing on the road at Michelob ULTRA Arena, but they are also facing a talented Aces team that went 17-5 at home during the 2025 regular season.

Not to mention, the Fever are missing key players such as Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson, Aari McDonald and Chloe Bibby due to season-ending injuries.

The Fever have done well with Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell and Lexie Hull leading the way, but there's no denying that their depth will be tested in a high-pressure Game 5 where a finals ticket is on the line.

With that being said, one of the Fever's players called on their fans to show support and rally behind the players. Before they headed to Las Vegas, forward Brianna Turner spoke in front of a camera and sent a message to the Indiana faithful.

"All right, y'all know the vibes by now. Tune in, on TV, on your phone, stream it, phone a friend, on the radio, do what you gotta do," Turner said. "Support the Fever. Be a Fever believer."

It remains to be seen if the Fever can overcome the Aces on the road, but it's worth noting that Indiana has shown the ability to pull off upsets this postseason.

After all, the Fever weren't even expected to be in the semifinals. However, they overcame Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream in the first round and won two games so far in their best-of-five series against the No. 2 Aces that feature the one and only four-time MVP A'ja Wilson.

The Fever play the Aces on Tuesday, with the winner of the game advancing to the WNBA Finals to face the Phoenix Mercury.
