The Indiana Fever have been without star point guard Caitlin Clark for the better part of two months, but they’ve done a tremendous job keeping their heads above water.
The team secured their second consecutive playoff appearance, but they’ll have to go to war without Clark this time around.
The reigning Rookie of the Year announced last week that she wouldn’t be returning this season, which is a crushing blow for the team.
Indiana lost to the Atlanta Dream in the first game of their first-round playoff series and now the Fever will try to regroup in front of their home crowd.
It remains to be seen what the turnout will be, but fans have responded accordingly to Clark’s absence. Currently, the fans can get tickets to the game for as cheap as $8 as the star point guard’s injury clearly has deflated hopes in the state.
The get-in price for tomorrow’s Fever-Dream playoff matchup is ONLY $8…

Indiana still has an assortment of talent, such as shooting guard Kelsey Mitchell and forward Aliyah Boston, but we know Clark is the main draw.
She has been at the epicenter of women’s basketball since her college days, when she brought the Iowa Hawkeyes to prominence in the NCAA March Madness tournament.
The WNBA was a relatively unpopular league before Clark brought her notorious feud with Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese to the pros.
The two faced off in college, while Reese played for the LSU Tigers, and the Magic Johnson and Larry Bird-esque rivalry made the league’s popularity skyrocket.
Clearly, the Fever can hold their own without Clark, but their other stars will never have the same appeal to the fanbase. If Indiana is this well off without her, they will likely have championship aspirations next season, so the stadium will be packed wall-to-wall if she remains healthy.
