There are still more than two months left before the WNBA regular season kicks off, but Indiana Fever fans will be in for a treat as they will get to see some of their players back on the hardwood earlier than expected.
Team USA qualified for the FIBA Women's World Cup last year after winning the 2025 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup, so fans can treat March's qualifying tournament as tune-up games that will help head coach Kara Lawson finalize her lineup for Germany.
Caitlin Clark is the biggest name among Lawson's Team USA debutants. Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese , Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen are the other first-timers in the senior national team setup.
While Fever fans are obviously thrilled to have Clark debut with the national team, two more Indiana players also made the roster for the qualifying tournament for their respective nations.
The team's official X page posted a message congratulating Chloe Bibby and Damiris Dantas for being selected to Australia and Brazil's teams, respectively, in the same competition.
"Congratulations to Chloe Bibby and Damiris Dantas on representing Australia and Brazil in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament in March," the Fever wrote.

Both Bibby and Dantas are solid contributors to the Fever lineup. Bibby averaged 3.9 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.4 assists for Indiana last season. Meanwhile, Dantas scored 4.6 points, grabbed 2.4 boards and recorded 0.7 assists in 38 games.
Meanwhile, Clark's Team USA debut will be her first taste of basketball in eight months. She was sidelined for much of her sophomore season due to a myriad of injuries, with a right groin injury on July 15 cutting her 2025 campaign short. She finished the year with 16.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 13 starts.
