Every time Caitlin Clark steps onto the court in an Indiana Fever uniform, she finds a way to make headlines.

Just two games into the 2025 WNBA season, Clark is already dominating the spotlight. Tuesday night was no different, as she delivered another electrifying performance despite Indiana’s narrow 91-90 loss to the Atlanta Dream.

Clark finished the game with 27 points, 11 assists and five rebounds. That came on the heels of her season-opening triple-double, where she notched 20 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds.

The Fever’s official social media team summed up her hot start with an exciting post:

"Caitlin Clark’s sophomore season is heating up last night, she broke the @wnba record for most career games with 25+ points & 10+ assists (6) in only 42 games."

Before Clark set the new mark, the record belonged to Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty, who had five such games over six seasons.

To put Clark’s record in perspective, during the stretch it took her to notch six 25-point, 10-assist games, only one other player in the league managed the feat: Odyssey Sims, who recorded 26 points and 10 assists for the Los Angeles Sparks in a win over Dallas.

Clark, 23, from Des Moines, Iowa, averaged 19.2 points and 8.4 assists per game during her rookie season. So far in 2025, she’s bumped her average to 10.5 assists through the first two contests, adding even more firepower to her already explosive game.

Clark and the Fever will get a chance to bounce back in a rematch against Atlanta on Thursday, this time on the road. Indiana will then return home Saturday to face the New York Liberty.

With performances like these, it's clear that Clark's second season is off to a historic start, and the Fever are riding on the wave of momentum she brings every night.
