The Indiana Fever felt the loss of Caitlin Clark in their matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks.

Indiana lost 85-75 to the Sparks, bumping it to 7-8 on the season. While the Fever were looking to gain momentum, a groin injury to Clark put them back in the loss column.

They'll have a chance to bounce back with a quick turnaround against the Dallas Wings, set to face Paige Bueckers and company for the first time this season.

The Fever will play the Wings on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Before the matchup against the Wings, Clark has been ruled out with a groin injury, missing her seventh game of the season, per Scott Agness.

In the game against the Sparks, Indiana was led by Kelsey Mitchell, who finished the game posting 20 points, one rebound and four assists.

The Fever also had four more players in double figures.

Sophie Cunningham capped off the game with 10 points and two rebounds. Natasha Howard posted 13 points and three rebounds.

Aari McDonald, who was playing in her first game back after signing with the Fever, finished the game with 14 points, two rebounds and one assist.

Aliyah Boston posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

While they have been statistically productive, wins have been hard to come by when Caitlin Clark is on the sidelines.

In her second season with the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark has averaged 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game.
