The Indiana Fever are playing the Connecticut Sun, looking to break a two-game losing streak while they compete without Caitlin Clark.
Injuries have been a major issue for the Fever all season. Clark has missed time for the Fever throughout her second season in the WNBA, playing under head coach Stephanie White.
Clark is dealing with a groin injury that's kept her sidelined for much of the second half of the WNBA season. The Fever have also lost Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald, both of whom suffered season-ending injuries.
On Sunday, when the Fever were playing the Sun, they were dealt another injury update, haunting the depth of the team.
Sophie Cunningham went down with a right knee injury and the Fever announced that she will not return to the game.

The loss of Sophie Cunningham would be a major hit to the Indiana Fever. Indiana has a thin backcourt with Clark, Colson and McDonald out. Odyssey Sims is one of the few guards, along with Kelsey Mitchell, still active for the Fever.
Cunningham is playing in her first season with the Fever. She began her career with the Phoenix Mercury and moved on to play under Stephanie White, chasing a title with two of the WNBA's biggest stars, Clark and Boston.
The Indiana Fever will likely monitor the health of Sophie Cunningham throughout the game, working to find the final injury diagnosis as their roster continues to thin.
Indiana's next matchup will be played on Friday against the Minnesota Lynx.
