Brianna Turner and the Indiana Fever kept their season alive with a Game 4 win over the Las Vegas Aces in the 2025 WNBA semifinals. Now, with the series tied 2-2, it shifts back to Las Vegas for Game 5 on Tuesday night, with the winner earning a trip to the WNBA Finals to take on the Phoenix Mercury.
After spending her first six seasons with the Mercury and Chicago Sky, making two All-Defensive First Teams, Turner signed with the Fever in early 2025 on a one-year, $85,000 deal. Turner didn't see much action in the first half of this season, but amid Indiana's injury issues, the former Notre Dame forward has seen an expanded role. In the playoffs, Turner is averaging 2.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 16.9 minutes per game.
However, ahead of Game 5 between the Fever and Aces, it was announced that Turner will join season five of Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball in 2026. The league is the only U.S.-based option outside the WNBA that offers women the chance to play 5-on-5 basketball, allowing players to remain stateside during the offseason rather than going overseas.
Unlike the WNBA and Unrivaled, AU Pro Basketball reshuffles its rosters each week, giving players the chance to team up with different teammates throughout the season. Instead of awarding a traditional team championship, the league crowns a single athlete as champion based on points earned. Season five will also take place in Nashville.
