With Caitlin Clark unavailable, Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White has leaned on her roster for help. After seven games this season, the Fever sit at 3-4 heading into Saturday’s road matchup against the Chicago Sky.

One of the key players Indiana needs to shine is 23-year-old Aliyah Boston. The first overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft out of South Carolina continues to anchor the paint on both ends of the floor.

Boston has quietly put together a strong stretch, scoring in double figures in each of her last four games.

On Wednesday, the Fever shared a stat that got fans buzzing:

"Aliyah Boston leads the @WNBA in field goal percentage this season at 67.6% last night, she was a perfect 5-5 from the field against Washington.

The post sparked plenty of reactions.

"She got to stop getting in foul trouble so early it's killing us we need her on the floor." a fan tweeted

"So why is she only shooting 5 shots then?" A fan tweeted.

"Ok but why is she taking only 5 shots?? Feed AB more in the post/paint," A fan tweeted.

"Aliyah is a BUCKET if she catches it down low," a fan tweeted.

"AB is killing it!! Facilitating, scoring, defending. The shot attempts will go up, no doubt," a fan tweeted.

"keep up the great work!! @aa_boston," a fan tweeted.

Through seven games this season, Boston is averaging 15.9 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. In her rookie season, she played all 40 games, averaging 14.0 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.

The last time Indiana faced the Sky, Boston posted a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. She’ll aim to replicate that performance Saturday without Clark in the lineup.
