The Indiana Fever are optimistic that Caitlin Clark will be fully healthy entering her third WNBA season. In 2025, Clark appeared in just 13 games due to multiple injuries. She missed the first two weeks with a quad strain, then suffered a right groin sprain on July 15.
A bone bruise in her left ankle followed, along with lingering lower-leg and quad issues that built up over time. In those 13 appearances, she averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.6 steals per game before the Fever shut her down in early September. Clark missed the final 19 games and the playoffs.
Despite her absence, Indiana reached the semifinals for the first time since 2015. The team finished the regular season 24-20 and pushed the Las Vegas Aces to five games before falling 2-3. The Fever now aim to build on that run and pursue their second championship with Clark expected to lead the way at full strength.
Indiana opens training camp on Sunday, and Clark provided a positive update ahead of the season, telling IndyStarSports’ Chloe Peterson that she is “100% healthy.”

Caitlin Clark said she is “100% healthy” but learning to manage reps, and Aliyah Boston said she’s “good to go” after her leg injury at Unrivaled.
Sophie Cunningham and Ty Harris are both cleared from their injuries, too.
Clark already showed signs of returning to form during the FIBA World Cup qualifying tournament in March. She led Team USA to a perfect 5-0 record and earned tournament MVP honors.
The Fever are scheduled for two preseason games, facing the New York Liberty on April 25 at Barclays Center before hosting the Dallas Wings on April 30 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The regular season begins May 9 at home against Dallas, with anticipation building in Indianapolis as the Fever prepare for another playoff push.
