Lexie Hull saw her fifth WNBA season with the Indiana Fever come to an end early on, falling to A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces 2-1 in the first round of the 2026 WNBA Playoffs. Now, Hull will be entering the final year of her two-year, $1.568 million contract in 2027, hoping to make a deeper postseason run next year before she becomes a free agent.
Hull has become a solid role player for the Fever since joining the team with the No. 6 pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft. The former Stanford guard is averaging 5.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 178 games through five seasons. And since 2024, playing alongside Caitlin Clark has only helped boost Hull’s popularity.
The Fever guard has built a solid career away from the WNBA as well, partnering with numerous brands such as Athleta, Factor Meals, RYSE and Teriyaki Madness.
And ahead of the 2026 WNBA season, Hull and her former roommate at Stanford, Sarah Guller, co-founded their own performance-driven beauty brand called FORTA Cosmetics. The brand offers four items so far, including setting spray, lip stain, makeup pouch and applicator, along with a bundle.
And on Monday, Hull and Guller shared a statement about the “founder experience” with FORTA Cosmetics. The two noted that they had faced problems with their makeup throughout their basketball careers and nonstop schedules, revealing how that helped shape the brand today.
“Things no one tells you about starting a beauty brand with your bestie in your 20s,” Hull and Guller said. “The best ideas come from your own problems. We had a shared frustration, our makeup kept melting off. Between basketball and nonstop schedules, nothing kept up. You’ll test your product in places no lab would. Game days, workouts, long days, nights out. If it can’t survive our real lives, it will not ship. You’ll have moments when you question everything…”
“But one of the best lessons we have learned is that you can’t build something that feels true to you by following someone else’s blueprint. Building a beauty brand in your 20s looks a lot less glamorous behind the scenes. But getting to build something you believe in, with your best friend by your side, is worth every bit of the learning curve. Follow along as we figure it out along the way. XOXO, Sarah and Lex.”
While Hull continues her offseason, the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries will continue to face off in the 2026 WNBA Finals.
