Natasha Howard continues to build an impressive WNBA career. After a standout run at Florida State, she’s quietly put together over a decade of strong production in the pros, all with one franchise.
That franchise, the Indiana Fever, has been at the center of league-wide attention this season, mostly because of star guard Caitlin Clark who is now in her second WNBA season. Still, Howard has remained a consistent and productive piece on a team that’s opened the 2025 campaign with a 9-8 record.
Despite the spotlight shining elsewhere, Howard has kept delivering.
The veteran forward earned praise during Saturday’s game against the Los Angeles Sparks after reaching a career milestone:

Howard reached the 2,000-rebound mark with two boards in the first quarter. The Fever led 23-21 after a back-and-forth start.
Now in her 11th season, the 6-foot-3 forward entered Saturday averaging 11.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. She was named MVP of the Commissioner’s Cup on July 1 after leading Indiana to a 74-59 win over the Minnesota Lynx. In that game, Howard logged 35 minutes, scored 16 points, and grabbed 12 rebounds.
Her recent play has been even more dominant. Saturday marked her third straight game with a double-double. That kind of steady presence has been important with Clark missing her fifth straight game due to a groin injury.
After the game vs the Sparks, the Fever will host the Golden State Valkyries on Wednesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
