Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is clearly not a golf scholar.
When Cunningham celebrated the news that she'll be part of the Annika Pro-Am as a celebrity caddy for Fever teammate and WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark, she took to social media to celebrate it.
Cunningham wrote "FOUR!!!!!!" as a caption for her repost of the upcoming The ANNIKA pro-am golf tournament.
But most people who have at least some knowledge of golf, including Clark, knows that the correct term is "Fore," which golfers always shout when warning people of an incoming ball.
Clark hilariously called out Cunningham for the harmless blunder.
"Yeah clearly we have a lot to learn about golf," the former Iowa Hawkeyes sharpshooter wrote on an Instagram Story post, adding three laughing emojis for comedic emphasis.
"It's fore bud," added Clark.
Cunningham later realized her mistake and reacted to it accordingly.
"FORE? Yea idk," Cunningham wrote in a follow-up Instagram Story post that was apparently a reaction to her realizing the correct spelling of "FORE."
IT'S ALL GOOD.

It's always nice to learn something new every day, and this is one good example for Cunningham, who isn't just the only Fever player guesting as a caddie at The ANNIKA. Lexie Hull is also named a guest caddy at the golf event that is scheduled on Nov. 12 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. Both Hull and Cunningham played significant roles for the Fever in the 2024 WNBA season, though, Cunningham was held to only 30 games because of a knee injury.
Hopefully for Clark, Cunningham's apparent inexperience in golf will not prevent her from putting together a great performance in the penultimate tournament on the LPGA calendar. For her part, Clark must be familiar with the tournament's atmosphere, as she had already participated in the 2024 edition of the event, where her presence attracted a big crowd.
Apart from Cunningham and Hull, other celebrity guest caddies expected to show up at Belleair are two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and soccer legend Briana Scurry and NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar.
