Sunday’s matchup at Crypto.com Arena saw the Los Angeles Sparks (2-3) snap a three-game losing streak with a convincing 91-78 win over the Chicago Sky (0-3) in the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Three-time WNBA All-Star Kelsey Plum led all scorers with 28 points to go along with eight assists, while Sparks' forward Azura Stevens chipped in 24 points and eight rebounds.

Despite early-season struggles on both sides, this contest gave WNBA fans plenty of storylines, culminating in a clip that has since taken social media by storm.

Early in the first quarter, the Sparks' Plum drove past Sky star Angel Reese off a high pick, rose for a left-handed layup over her outstretched arm, and immediately turned to perform the now-famous "too small" celebration.

The moment was quickly clipped, shared across social media and has since become the talk among fans.

One user said, "What does reese even do? ," to which another responded, "She got two steals."

Another commenter said, "Reese really tried to swat that ball ," while one other fan replied, "She wasn't even close to the ball."

Another user commented, "OH. SNAP." followed up by one other commenter with, "Reese you done ."

Selected first overall in the 2017 WNBA Draft by the San Antonio Stars (now the Aces), Plum earned WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year honors in 2021 and two back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023 with Las Vegas.

Reese was the No. 7 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft after a storied collegiate career at LSU, where she was a 2023 NCAA champion and a back-to-back First-Team All-American (2023, 2024).

As a rookie in 2024, she averaged 13.6 points and a WNBA record 13.1 rebounds over 34 games with the Sky, earning an All-Star nod and a spot on the All-Rookie Team.
