Kelsey Plum's Full Circle Moment Draws Reactions From WNBA Stars

While the WNBA is on a break, Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum is focusing on her endeavors outside of basketball.

Plum has her own line of cigars. She became associated with them when she smoked one during the Aces' championship parade in 2022, which led to an iconic photograph. She did it again when they retained the crown the following year.

On Instagram, Plum shared her latest achievement with her signature cigars and expressed her disbelief.

"My cigar, now sold in lounges," wrote the 30-year-old guard. "If you would have told me that a couple years ago when I smoked my first cigar in this same lounge, I would have laughed.

"Your life can look a lot different in a short time in the best way."

Her full circle moment drew support from her fellow WNBA stars, including Marina Mabrey of the Connecticut Sun, who commented three fire emojis.

Mabrey's teammate, Dijonai Carrington, also posted a congratulatory remark.

"Yeah, Kelsss! Congrats!" wrote Carrington.

Even retired WNBA players expressed their excitement.

"Dope!" said Hall of Fame guard Ticha Penicheiro.

"Plum, this is so dope!" echoed former All-Rookie Team member Monique Currie.

Plum has said she's been fortunate enough that cigars have become a "special tradition" for her.

The three-time All-Star, however, fell short of another victory puff after the Aces were eliminated by the New York Liberty in the semifinals of this season's playoffs.
