The 2026 offseason has been busy for the reigning champion Las Vegas Aces.

Las Vegas entered the offseason with a clear objective: sustain its championship window. Since then, the front office has made a series of moves to keep the roster in title contention.

Here is a rundown of what the champs have been done so far this offseason.

Aces free agency moves

The Aces have prioritized continuity, bringing back key players from their championship core.

Las Vegas rewarded A’ja Wilson with a new supermax under the league’s new collective bargaining agreement. The team re-signed the two-time MVP to a three-year supermax contract worth $5 million.

Elsewhere on the roster, the Aces re-signed All-Star guard Jackie Young to a historic $1 million contract. Veteran guard Chelsea Gray also returned on a three-year, $3 million fully guaranteed deal. Jewell Loyd also returned on a three-year deal.

The Aces have also shored up their bench, bringing back Kierstan Bell and Cheyenne Parker-Tyus. They are joined by NaLyssa Smith and Dana Evans.

They also signed Brianna Turner and Stephanie Talbot in free agency. In addition, the Aces signed former Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter to a training camp contract.

Key Departures

While the team did make key additions, they have also lost some key free agents, including Aaliyah Nye, who the Toronto Tempo drafted in the expansion draft; Kiah Stokes, who signed with the Golden State Valkyries; and Megan Gustafson, who is now a member of the Portland Fire.
