Las Vegas Aces Release A'ja Wilson’s Teammate on Wednesday

The A'ja Wilson-led Las Vegas Aces have released forward Crystal Bradford on Wednesday, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal sports reporter Callie Fin.

The Las Vegas roster is down to 10 active players after the Aces terminated the 31-year-old's training camp contract, which allowed her to appear in four games this season. She averaged one point and 1.3 rebounds per game.

Bradford previously played for the Atlanta Dream in 2021, where she played in 24 games and started nine. She averaged 8.8 points per game in 18.3 minutes of playing time.

Bradford was drafted in 2015 by the Los Angeles Sparks with the No. 7 overall pick out of Central Michigan. The 6-footer received 9.5 minutes per game in Los Angeles and only started once. She scored 2.7 points per game within 15 games played.

Before going to the WNBA, she played four seasons with the Chippewas from 2011-15. She averaged 19.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game as a senior.

Bradford enjoyed her best season as a junior, when she averaged 20.3 points and 12.2 rebounds per game. The forward finished won the MAC Player of the Year award in 2013-14 and made three All-MAC team appearances.

Bradford also received the MAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player award in 2013-24 and the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year honors that same year.

Meanwhile, the Aces are 4-3 heading into their eighth game of the season against the Sparks, who are 3-7. Wednesday’s game between Las Vegas and Los Angeles is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. ET on CBS Sports.
