Las Vegas Aces General Manager Natalie Williams announced today that the team has signed 6-5 center Jessika Carter as a free agent. Carter was picked 11th overall in the second round of the WNBA 2024 draft by the New York Liberty.

Carter was named to the All-Sec team three times and at Mississippi State she was recognized as a WBCA Honorable Mention All America. Carter averaged 31.4 minutes per game while in college, scoring 14.9 points, grabbing 9.9 rebounds, dishing out 1.7 blocks, and shooting 52%.
She had the conference’s second-best field goal %, fifth in rebounds, sixth in blocks, and 12th in points.Carter joined Teaira McCowan and LaToya Thomas as the only players in program history to score 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds. In the program record books, her 1,750 points rank sixth, her 1,120 rebounds second, and her 238 blocks third.
