The Indiana Fever ended their two-game slump on Sunday, beating the bottom-ranked Connecticut Sun in overtime, 99-93.
Kelsey Mitchell willed the team to victory after the Fever trailed by as many as 21 points in the game. Mitchell finished with a season-high and a career-high-tying 38 points, including 10 of the Fever's 15 points in overtime.
Mitchell also had six assists and two steals, leading Indiana to its largest comeback win in franchise history.
After the game, Mitchell's teammates were naturally hyped up for her. Caitlin Clark called her "MVP Kels," while Sydney Colson was in disbelief over her performance and wrote that it's unreal.
Lexie Hull, for her part, was equally ecstatic and wrote, "it's all there!!!!" She also shared the Fever's post highlighting Mitchell's stats from the game, which the team called an "MVP performance."

It wasn't only the Fever players who were in awe of Mitchell's performance. Head coach Stephanie White was also full of praise for her All-Star guard after she carried the team to victory.
In her post-game presser, White said that she was "speechless" about what she witnessed from Mitchell.
"Just put us on her back, made big shot after big shot, big play after big play," White added. "She willed us."
With Clark's return from her groin injury still uncertain and Sophie Cunningham sustaining a knee injury on Sunday, the Fever are expected to rely even more on Mitchell to lead them. Clearly, she's ready for the challenge.
The Fever have nine games left in the season. They are set to play the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx next on Friday.
