The Indiana Fever will play the Chicago Sky for the second time this season on Saturday at Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
The Fever head into their fourth straight game without guard Caitlin Clark, who has been out since May 24 with a quad strain. In Clark’s absence, guard Lexie Hull has taken over some of the scoring duties.
Hull, 25, has averaged 10.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game in her seven appearances with Indiana. On Tuesday, against the Washington Mystics, she put up 14 points and six rebounds to help her team snap a three-game losing streak and seal the 85-76 victory.
Hull’s recent performances have earned her respect from Fever fans, who happily shared the news with her mother.
“Momma Hull, Lexie is playing the best ball of her professional career,” a fan wrote on X. “We are so proud of her. Everyone’s talking about her, and it’s well deserved.”
Following the thoughtful message about her daughter, Jamie Hull couldn’t help but share her reaction.
“Awww… thanks so much,” she responded. “That means the world to all of us. It hasn’t been easy, but she is one resilient kid. We are very proud of how she doesn’t let adversity get her down. She will never quit fighting out there. It’s just who she is. .”

Lexie Hull’s mother’s comment comes as her daughter is preparing to help lead the Fever into what they hope will be another victory against Angel Reese and the Sky on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
