We are now more than a quarter of the way through the 2025 WNBA season, and two teams have emerged as the best heading into the final stretch of June. And Lisa Leslie appears to believe one team could win the championship, but she added a twist.

The New York Liberty have held full control of the Eastern Conference for most of the season, sitting in first place with a 10-3 record. The defending champions are still led by All-WNBA stars Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart and boast the league's best offense, averaging 88.3 points per game.

From the Western Conference, the Minnesota Lynx have secured the best record in the WNBA at 12-2. Forward Napheesa Collier is having an MVP-caliber season, averaging 24.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists.

In her most recent episode of "Between the Lines with Lisa Leslie," Leslie commented that the Liberty and Lynx are destined to meet in the WNBA Finals, a rematch from last year.

"You guys know that the New York Liberty and the Minnesota Lynx have come out hot this season, and right now they seem to be destined to meet in the WNBA Finals again," Leslie stated.

The former Los Angeles Sparks star went on to predict the Lynx to win the championship, as long as they have home-court advantage.

"I think about the Lynx and I think about who has home-court advantage because home-court advantage is key to the win," Leslie added. "Last year, New York had home-court advantage and they were able to close out the championship on their floor. The Minnesota Lynx are really on a revenge season and a clap-back season with Napheesa Collier leading the way and leading the WNBA in scoring. I think if the Lynx have home-court advantage, they could possibly walk away as WNBA champions."

Leslie spent 12 seasons with the Sparks from 1997-2009. She knows a thing or two about winning a WNBA championship, securing two rings and two WNBA Finals MVPs of her own. The eight-time All-Star was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.
