The Lynx had no answer for Britney Griner and the Dream on Sunday night. Atlanta leaned on its star post player and handed Minnesota a 90-86 loss at the Target Center, its first at home this season.
Outside of the Commissioner's Cup final loss to the Fever, the Lynx were a perfect 14-0 at the Target Center heading into Sunday. They got out to a sluggish start with a 14-point halftime deficit. They cut Atlanta's lead all the way down to three, but it was too little too late.
Napheesa Collier played at an MVP level with 32 points, eight rebounds and seven assists on 14-18 shooting from the field, but she didn't have much help, as Courtney Williams and Kayla McBride struggled. Minnesota's other two all-stars combined to shoot 7-21 from the field for 15 total points.

Collier was the best player on the floor, and she did everything she could to pull Minnesota back into the game, but Griner's 22 points were just enough to give Atlanta the four-point win.
The Lynx are now 22-5 this season, and they will have two days off before a WNBA Finals rematch against the Liberty on Wednesday. That game will tip off at 7 p.m. CT at the Target Center, and it will be broadcast on ESPN.
