Lynx superstar forward Napheesa Collier has been named WNBA player of the month for June, marking the second-straight month she has taken home the award.

Despite missing two games due to a back injury, Collier averaged 22.9 points, 8.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.5 blocks per game in June. The WNBA has only been in action for two months, and Collier has been named player of the month both times.

Minnesota's star forward is now averaging 24.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.5 blocks per game on 52.5% shooting from the field, a 39.6% mark from beyond the arc and 94.3% shooting from the free throw line on the season.

The Lynx have not had an MVP since Sylvia Fowles took home the award in 2017, but Collier has established herself as the overwhelming favorite to win this year's award two months through the season.

Minnesota is back in action on Thursday night against the Mystics as they look to bounce back from Tuesday's Commissioner's Cup final loss to the Fever.
