When it was Caitlin Clark who may be a victim of a racial slur, why would no reporter ask about it? Why would it not prompt an investigation from the WNBA? These were some of the questions raised by one conservative media personality as she gave her honest thoughts on the issue.

In one of her recent videos , Megyn Kelly got honest about her take on the viral issue of Brittney Griner seemingly throwing racial slurs in a video towards Caitlin Clark.

“We don’t know what she’s mouthing,” Kelly said, talking about the fact that teh issue did not gain as much traction as the alleged Angel Reese racial slur. “Griner herself hasn’t commented. Now, why is that? If you were being accused of making racist statements, I think you’d want to clear that up quickly. But she’s not. She’s apparently totally comfortable letting those allegations linger. We don’t know because she’s not speaking to it, which is odd.”

“And on Saturday, after that clip received millions of views, not a single reporter asked Griner about it. Not a single reporter.”

“So maybe Griner knows the story will disappear because, again, fake allegations of racism, nobody holds that against you. Anti-white racism, nobody holds that against you. That’s fine. No problem. and she can behave with impunity and understand that these powerful voices within the sports industry will run cover for her and do the work of attacking alleged anti-black racism where it doesn’t exist.”

Caitlin Clark Caught on Playful Attempt to Dodge TNT’s Cameras at Pacers-Knicks Game

Caitlin Clark was among the many celebrities attending Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks. Seated courtside at Gainbridge Fieldhouse alongside her Indiana Fever teammates Aliyah Boston and Lexie Hull, Clark initially tried to avoid the TNT cameras when they focused on the trio.

As the broadcast highlighted the Fever players, Clark leaned away from Hull in an attempt to stay out of the frame. However, after a brief hesitation, she relented and leaned back in, offering a wave to the fans watching at home.

The game featured a star-studded audience, with TNT showcasing celebrities such as Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, and comedian Mike Epps before turning their attention to the Fever players. While Clark’s lighthearted moment with the camera provided a fun break, the Fever have been facing challenges on the court.

Since Clark’s injury, the team has struggled, losing two consecutive games. To make matters worse, additional injuries to key guards on Friday have further complicated the Fever’s lineup, raising concerns about their ability to bounce back in upcoming matchups.

Are Lynx clear championship favorite after blockbuster trade?

The Minnesota Lynx didn't need roster upgrades after a 24-5 start, but that hasn't stopped them from doing so. The Dallas Wings announced Sunday they dealt guard DiJonai Carrington to the Lynx for guard Karlie Samuelson, forward Diamond Miller and a 2027 second-round pick. Dallas waived center Teaira McCowan to complete the trade. The Lynx, who had the WNBA's best record entering Sunday, have a strong chance to win their fifth championship. FanDuel Sportsbook gives them +165 title odds, tied with the New York Liberty (17-10) for the league's best. Acquiring Carrington improves Minnesota's prospects. In 39 games with the Connecticut Sun in 2024, the 27-year-old guard was named the league's Most Improved Player after logging career highs in points (12.7) and steals (1.6). She also earned a first-team All-Defensive nod. Carrington joined Dallas in a four-team trade in February. The 2021 second-round pick played 20 games for the club, averaging 10.4 points, 1.1 steals and 1.8 assists. Carrington should make Minnesota's defense even more stingy. The Lynx allowed the league's fewest points (75.4) through 29 games. Minnesota forward Napheesa Collier, a league MVP candidate, is tied for third in the WNBA in steals (1.8) through 26 games. She and Carrington could form a tandem that flusters opposing offenses. The primary concern regarding the guard is her high turnover rate. Per the WNBA's website, Carrington's turnover ratio (15.4) ranks 127th among 173 eligible players. (This stat measures how often a player loses the ball relative to the number of possessions they have.) However, the figure could improve with a better supporting cast. Except for rookie guard Paige Bueckers, Dallas lacks star power. The Wings (8-21) had the league's third-worst record entering Sunday. This likely contributed to Carrington forcing the issue offensively. The Liberty beat the Lynx in five games in last season's WNBA Finals. Perhaps Carrington will help Minnesota get revenge if it faces New York again in the championship.

Justin Fields Called 'Biggest Loser' In Jets Training Camp

The New York Jets opted to cut Aaron Rodgers and sign Justin Fields to replace him during the offseason. This kind of commitment to Fields should bolster his confidence, but it could also place a lot of pressure on his shoulders. To this point, Fields has looked solid in training camp, aside from a scary toe injury that was quickly resolved in July. Justin Fried of the Jet Press recently reported that Fields' training camp may have reached a new low over the weekend as the young signal caller struggled. "Justin Fields put together his best practice of the summer to this point on Friday, completing his first 12 passes en route to an excellent all-around performance. The same can't be said about his showing on Saturday, however," Fried wrote. "Fields finished the day an abysmal 2-of-10 in the air, including a drop from rookie tight end Mason Taylor. "Some of his incompletions were catchable balls, but the Jets' passing game struggles on Saturday can largely be blamed on No. 7. Fields did flash his running ability with a 25-yard rushing score on the first play of red-zone drills, but the Jets would like to see more consistency in the air from the starting quarterback. Saturday's scrimmage was far from his best showing of the summer." Fields is a runner first at the NFL level, but his arm is nothing to scoff at. For most of training camp, his arm talent has been better than advertised, but during Saturday's scrimmage, it just wasn't there. A 2 for 10 performance is unacceptable for a $40 million quarterback who was signed to take over the team. The running game should open up the passing game for the Jets, which is going to need to be the case if Fields is going to struggle like this. However, it's just one day of camp. It's nothing to be too concerned about. Just because Fields lost this specific practice doesn't mean he's heading in the wrong direction as a whole.

25-time Grammy winner's sports agency blasts Jerry Jones for 'comical' comment

The Dallas Cowboys may have 99 problems, and the way owner Jerry Jones handles contract negotiations could be considered a big one. Jones spoke with the media Saturday regarding Micah Parsons' contract situation. The EDGE, who is entering the final year of his rookie deal, has requested a trade. The 82-year-old owner clarified the Cowboys have no plans to trade Parsons. While discussing negotiations, Jones took an unprovoked jab at former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and his agent, rapper Jay-Z. "When we have a problem within the team and a player, I don't ever find the agent. He's nowhere to be found," Jones said. "...Jay-Z and I negotiated [Bryant's contract in 2015], spent hours. He said, 'Anybody in my organization is on time.' He said, 'My office used to be on the street corner, and I've always been early. So, they will be on time.' And I said, 'Where do I sign? But I'm going to call you.' Finally, he quit taking my call." The 25-time Grammy winner's sports agency, Roc Nation, took issue with Jones' comment. In a statement released on X Sunday, it denied his claim, calling it "comical." This is yet another example of Jones prioritizing attention when he should be focused on extending two-time first-team All-Pro Parsons. The Cowboys often delay deals for their stars. The team signed Bryant to a five-year, $70M deal in July 2015, just before the deadline to extend players with a franchise tag. Last season, Dallas signed quarterback Dak Prescott to a four-year, $240M contract ahead of its season opener against the Cleveland Browns. The team's procrastination often leaves it paying even more for star players and wastes valuable time. Parsons is still with the team at training camp in Oxnard, Calif., but isn't participating. He likely wants a contract that's similar to that of Pittsburgh Steelers EDGE T.J. Watt (three years, $123M). The pass-rusher is the highest-paid non-quarterback in the league. Jones' methods are one reason the Cowboys haven't won a Super Bowl since the 1995 season. Jay-Z should mention that if he wants to write a single that includes a lyric about the owner.

Familiar face gets attention in Packers training camp: ‘I always wanted to be back’

The Green Bay Packers have decisions to make soon, with the 53-man roster cut deadline on the horizon. Among those hoping to make it to Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season on the team’s main roster is tight end John FitzPatrick, who reunited with the Packers after signing a one-year contract worth $1.5M in April. Green Bay initially signed him to the active roster in 2024 following a practice squad stint with the Atlanta Falcons. He played nine games for the Packers in the 2024 NFL campaign, but did not produce significantly on the field, having also seen just 32% of offensive snaps. He had a catch on a single target for two receiving yards last season. TE loving his Green Bay Packers comeback Competing for a spot behind Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave, the 25-year-old FitzPatrick had his moments on the field on Friday with a sliding catch from a Malik Willis pass before scoring a touchdown. FitzPatrick is not hiding his true feelings about being back with Green Bay, as he continues to prove himself to the team. “I always wanted to be back here,” FitzPatrick said, per Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers’ official website. “I really love it here. I love the people here. When the opportunity presented itself, it was really a no-brainer. It was nice just being able to go through the whole offseason program. The OTAs and the lifting, all the meetings and practices, I think has just helped me a ton.” FitzPatrick entered the pros in 2022, when the Falcons took him off the board in the sixth round (213th overall) of the NFL draft.
