Paige Bueckers has turned a lot of heads this 2025, starting off with the draft when she was selected first overall by the Dallas Wings.
The former UConn Huskies star lived up to the expectations of being a No. 1 pick, averaging 19.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.6 steals en route to becoming an All-Star in her first season and winning Rookie of the Year.
Bueckers continues to make headlines this WNBA offseason. More recently, she joined the USA Basketball training camp — along with the likes of Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark , Cameron Brink and Rickea Jackson, among others — in preparation for the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup.
On Monday, however, Bueckers drew attention for a different reason. The Wings guard is set to play in the 3-on-3 women's basketball league Unrivaled in January, and her team, Breeze BC, shared a post on Instagram to promote the squad.
Breeze had its players — which also include Brink, Jackson, Kate Martin, Aari McDonald and Dominique Malonga — dancing. What stood out was Bueckers' moves though, with one fan noting that the way she danced was "straight out of a midwest dad."
"I just KNOW Paige can do better," a commenter wrote. Another one said in disbelief, "How did they agree to this especially Paige."
"Lil Paigey … what’s happening there," a fan stated.
A supporter remarked, "Paige just be dancin in Tik toks she can only do like 15 sec spurts then she get nervous lol."
"Paige please," a sixth viewer noted.
For what it's worth, Bueckers herself commented on the post and said, "This was supposed to stay in the drafts."
Unfortunately for Bueckers, the video is out, and fans can't get enough of her dance.
Unrivaled Season 2 kicks off on Jan. 5. Most of the games will be played in Miami, though there are some contests set in Philadelphia. The tournament will run until March.
