Bueckers, who ended her collegiate career with a national championship at UConn, said she knows it will be a very different experience in her first season in the WNBA.
"I think I've come to that realization that I've been extremely blessed and fortunate to be in great situations in high school and in college," Bueckers said, via CBS Sports. "It's different in the W. You don't see teams going undefeated, you don't see a lot of single-loss seasons, which is something that the teams I've been playing on have not been accustomed to, so it's definitely going to be an adjustment."
The Wings are coming off a season where they went 9-31, the second-worst record in the league.
Bueckers will kick off her offiical WNBA career on Friday when the Wings host the Lynx.
