The Dallas Wings and star rookie Paige Bueckers faced off against the Seattle Storm. Bueckers and company fell to 0-2 on the season after a disappointing 79-71 loss.
In the loss, the former UConn star put together a strong performance. She scored 19 points on 7-for-14 shooting to go along with eight assists, five rebounds, and two steals. Bueckers also recorded a block.
Following the game, StatMamba took to X to share that Bueckers has entered Caitlin Clark territory.
Bueckers was the first rookie to record 19 points, eight assists, and five rebounds in a game since Clark, who did it 12 times during the 2024 WNBA season.

Just a couple of short weeks ago, Bueckers opened up about the comparisons she has received to Clark.
"Pitting the two most recent No. 1 draft picks against each other is good for the game," she said. "At the end of the day, I don’t think either of us really cares about it, because we’re just trying to be the best versions of ourselves.”
NBA legend Dirk Nowitzki spoke out about Bueckers and her future in Dallas.
"I think [Paige Bueckers has] got the talent. She's gonna be amazing for us," he said.
Throughout her career, Bueckers has been a winner. She's looking to take the Wings to being a championship contender throughout her tenure with the team. In her final year under Geno Auriemma at UConn, Bueckers led the Huskies to a national championship.
Next up for Dallas and Bueckers will be a Wednesday night matchup on the road against the Minnesota Lynx.
