Peyton Manning has been an Indianapolis legend for almost three decades. Caitlin Clark is now the biggest star in Naptown.
Therefore, it's not surprising that a business, or in this case, a hospital, would want to include Clark and Manning in an advertisement. The Indiana Fever superstar and Hall of Fame quarterback have teamed up for a commercial for St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, which has been going viral on Thursday.
In the clip, Clark and Manning are show in an operating room as Peyton performs surgery, stitching up an unseen patient. The two sing the praises of the cardiac team at St Vincent as the camera pans out and we can see the "patient" is actually a teddy bear.
"Indiana Fever star @CaitlinClark22 and legendary Indianapolis @Colts quarterback Peyton Manning team up for a new ad for St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis," said FOX59's Max Lewis. "The Peyton Manning Children's Hospital is housed at the hospital. The ad is airing on local TV stations in the city."

Smart advertising on St. Vincent Hospital's part. There might not be too many people Indianapolis residents love and trust more than Clark and Peyton.
This has been a big week for Clark in terms of helping people. Not only did her new hospital ad drop, but on Wednesday, the WNBA Rookie of the Year celebrated her 23rd birthday by announcing a partnership with Scholastic's United States of Readers program to donate 22,000 books to students in need in Indiana and Iowa.
"Reading and education have always been hugely important in my life. I remember picking out the books from the Scholastic flyer and how empowering that was for me as a child, and how motivated I was to read," Clark said in a statement. "I want to help kids have the same experience, to develop their reading skills and open their imaginations to dream big. I am thrilled that my foundation will support reading as Literacy Champions by collaborating with Scholastic and the United States of Readers."
Last May, Peyton Manning welcomed Clark to Indianapolis with a prescient prediction about her future in the city.
"She's going to love Indianapolis...It's a great place for her to play, I'm looking forward to watching her," Manning said.
If Clark keeps up her rookie pace, she might be able to challenge Manning's status as the most beloved Indy athlete ever.
