PHOENIX — Phoenix Mercury forward Alyssa Thomas’ performance this season has turned heads beyond the WNBA as popular news account Pop Base celebrated her accomplishment on X (formerly Twitter).
Thomas continued to add to her historic season during Sunday’s win against the Washington Mystics. She became the fastest player in the league to 175 assists and 150 rebounds in her first 20 games of a season. The All-Star also became 17th in all-time steals in the win.
