When Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark made her return from injury this past Saturday in the team's 102-88 win over the New York Liberty, millions of fans tuned in.

As revealed following Clark's tremendous outing, which saw her record 32 points, grab eight rebounds and dish out nine assists, the 2.2 million fans who tuned into the ABC broadcast ultimately made it the third most-watched WNBA game on ABC ever.

While Clark is well-known for being must-see television, posting a highlight from her game ultimately led to basketball content creator Rachel DeMita reportedly losing her job with Ice Cube's Big3 league.

The former host of NBA 2KTV took to X on Friday following the report to address the noise surrounding the situation on her show, "Courtside Club Podcast."

"The rumors are true," DeMita said. "I was fired from the Big3, and my team received an email at 11 p.m. on Tuesday with a letter that essentially said that I had been terminated."

DeMita added that the Big3 expressed frustrations in an email that she was posting about one of the league's competitors while at an event for the Big3. She claimed that she wasn't watching the Fever-Liberty game and that the league's decision came as a surprise.

"I feel like I did a pretty good job during season one when I was with them as well," DeMita said. "But from my understanding, that was the only reason why my contract was terminated, why I was fired from the Big3. And I'm seeing a lot of people speculating that there had to have been something else. At least from my side, I know of nothing else as to the reason I was fired. That was the reason you heard ... From their side, I'm not sure."

At the end of her video, DeMita revealed she still has plans to release new episodes of her show despite this development.
