Raven Johnson and Caitlin Clark are getting along well now that they are teammates with the Indiana Fever.

These two have a bit of history, stemming from an infamous incident during their 2023 NCAA Final Four matchup. Clark, then with the Iowa Hawkeyes, waved off a wide-open Johnson from three-point territory. Johnson passed up the shot, which ultimately led to intense bullying online as the video went viral.

According to Johnson, she seriously considered quitting basketball after the incident.

That’s all in the past now, though, with Clark doing what she can to help Johnson’s transition into the WNBA.

For Johnson, however, it’s another Fever teammate who she considers the GOAT or the greatest of all time. That honor belongs to Aliyah Boston.

“Better get you one of these,” Johnson said while holding up Boston’s jersey inside the Fever team store. “Right here, y’all. The GOAT right here.”

Johnson then picked up a Clark jersey. She playfully wished to turn into the two-time All-Star. “I’m her,” Johnson said.

As it turns out, Boston was waiting on Johnson. The Fever star hilariously called out the rookie, which led Johnson to rush to join Boston. “Sorry, I was promoting jerseys,” Johnson explained.

While Johnson and Clark faced off as opponents at the collegiate level, the 5-foot-8 rookie was teammates with Boston for two years with the South Carolina Gamecocks. They won a national championship together in 2022.

Johnson has had nothing but nice things to say about Clark. However, she’s made it clear that it’s Boston who stands out as her GOAT pick.
