Rickea Jackson’s off-court fashion statements have turned heads several times, and now that Unrivaled is winding up its regulars, Jackson did it once again.
As the last regular game of the season, Breeze went off at the Laces on Feb 27. Returning to the hardwood after some mishaps, Jackson couldn’t push for the win as Breeze came short by 12 points. But keeping the 65-53 loss on the scoreboards, Jackson’s outfit was a real game stealer.
The Breeze star walked the Sephora players’ tunnel wearing a skimpy top and skirt, with knee-length boots covered in fur. A fur-coated jacket lay over her shoulders and sleeves in a fall-off manner, while she finished the look with a slim, shimmery choker.

As usual, Unrivaled took it to Instagram, posting their stars of the night with a caption that read, “Last regular season tunnel walks”. The fire emoji added extra flavour, and the comments did not disappoint. “Rickea is 1 of 1”, one said. while another went, “Rickea volcanic”.
Grabbing so much attention with her tunnel fits, Kea isn’t new to that game. And she remains one of the best at it. However, as “volcanic” as her outfit was, the same couldn’t be said about Breeze’s game for the night.
For the game, Jackson managed only 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist. An unusual scenario given she’s averaging 14.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists for the season. Her Breeze teammate Paige Bueckers came with even more shocking numbers.
Bueckers, one of the offensive leaders of the league, only scored 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. A big shocker compared to her usual standard, which is 22.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. She’s currently the league’s no.4.
Dominique Malonga scored 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Cameron Brink added 11 points and 8 rebounds. But that was not enough to turn the tables on Brittney Skyes and the Laces. Skyes became the game winner with 25 points and 12 rebounds.
However, Breeze won the tickets to the playoffs last week by beating Vinyl in a 77-56 defeat. Which was Jackson’s first game after her return. On that Feb. 21 game, Jackson added 22 points and 3 rebounds.
Moving forward, Breeze will go against the defending champion Rose on February 28. Last time, they had an 81-56 win over Rose when they played on February 1.
But Angel Reese has joined Rose’s roster now, so Jackson’s side might have to work a bit harder for the victory. Do you think they will defeat Rose once again?
